Views

Windshift lets you look at the same work in different ways. Each view is designed for a different job, and any view can be pointed at a workspace, an iteration, or a collection.

Board view

The board shows work as cards grouped by status, with one column per status. Drag cards between columns to move work through the workflow. Best for standups, daily delivery tracking, and spotting blocked or stalled work.

Backlog view

The backlog shows items that are not yet scheduled into an iteration, ordered by priority. Use it to triage incoming work, refine items, and prepare what comes next.

List view

A dense, sortable, filterable table. Use the list when you want to scan or bulk-edit many work items at once. Lists can be exported to CSV.

Tree view

The tree shows parent-child relationships between work items. Expand and collapse branches to navigate from an Epic down to its Stories and Tasks, or use it to re-parent items by dragging.

Map view

The map renders relationships between work items as a graph, so you can see how items link, depend on, or block each other across a larger effort. Useful when you need to understand the shape of a programme of work rather than its day-to-day flow.

Roadmap view

The roadmap places milestones and iterations on a timeline. Use it to plan releases, communicate dates to stakeholders, and see whether the work in flight will hit the targets you have committed to.

Calendar view

The calendar shows scheduled work on a weekly grid. Drag on an empty slot to create a task, drag an existing item to reschedule. Useful for time-sensitive work like releases, content, campaigns, or any work tied to a specific day.

Personal view

The personal view focuses on work that is yours: items assigned to you, items you are watching, mentions, and upcoming due dates across every workspace you have access to.
