Test plans
A test plan groups the test cases that run together. Examples are a smoke set, a regression set, or a release candidate checklist.

Add test cases to a plan
- Open Test Plans.
- Open a plan, or select Create Test Plan to add one.
- Select Manage test cases.
- Search for a test case and add it to the plan.
- Select the remove control to take a test case out of the plan.
The plan shows the number of assigned test cases.
Generate a description with AI
If the workspace has AI features enabled, select Generate with AI to create a plan description. Windshift uses the assigned test cases for the description. Windshift asks before it replaces an existing description.
Reuse a plan
A plan is reusable. Use the same plan for each release. To start a run from a plan, see Test runs.
